YounG KilLeR....

Dear Readers,

Every year there are so many young teenagers and young adults that fall into the web of some drug such as smoking, marijuana, alcohol, or another addiction. Giving up is probably one of the most difficult steps of a reforming individual. In support of all my friends that have decided to quit smoking I have written the following poem displaying the inner dilemma of a addict.

Putting out the Fire

Breathe the fire
Let it storm your body
Rage and consume your soul
It’s your need and desire

Blood pumping in your veins
Hot, consuming and itching
Hands trembling with impatience
Eyes bloodshot showing no gain

Just once more
Your mind screams for it
You give in to the lust
Passions winning the war

Regret fills your body moments later
No turning or looking back
Path for destruction has been chosen
Sleeping demons stir

One choice changed your life
Took away your chance at everything
Time slipped away like water
Slow and steady with a serene gentleness
Why?
Because you breathed fire
You had a need a strong desire….

If you have friends that suffer from a serious addiction...help them loose it and help them overcome it. Remind them of the consequences for the future. Make a change !

I'm BaCKKk......

Dear Readers,

So as an important message I wanted to say that according to me there are two things that are very important in every relationship and that is trust and sacrifice. Without these two things it is impossible to have the perfect relationship. At some point in time we all have to give up something and show extreme faith and trust in our partner. So while I was thinking about these two things I went back to dabbling at poetry. I hope you like the two poems... the second one is my favorite because I have applied a new technique of response. Hopefully that poem has the effect I wanted it to have.

Walking Away

He makes me mad
He makes me wait
He makes me frustrated
But still I give him my heart on a silver plate

His eyes make me smile
His see’s in me what others can’t see
His pranks make me feel young
His hand in mine is how it’s supposed to be

Things are never are… how they are meant
He wants and cares for another
She brings a smile on his face
I’m handing him over to her

I’m walking away from him
Because his happiness means the world to me
He’s gave me more than I could want
Now it’s my turn to return the favor and set him free

May she love him like I always did
Care for him how I never could
Take his sorrow and pain
Hold is hand like I would…

It Will Be Better This Time

I made a mistake
I betrayed your trust
Forgive me… take me back
I got carried away in lust

I look back at our pictures
Those moments that we spent
The love that you showered on me
I know that I have left a permanent dent

I will be the best this time baby
I won’t let you down
I’ll be by your side whenever you look
Give me a chance don’t let me drown...

You say you made a mistake
You want to redo what you have done
It’s too late and everything has changed
You can hide from what you have done but not run

When you look at old pictures…. you see love
I see deceit, betrayal, and all the pain of your memory
I trusted you ...I loved you like no other
All I received in return was cold treachery

You crushed me beneath your lies
Didn’t even give me a chance to breathe
You already have drowned me
You ask me to save you
But the dead can’t give life
P.S. I hope you like them and see the emotion behind them :)

Feel the Love,

Bitter Happiness....

Dear Readers,

*IMPORTANT* >>>>> Before you read this post I would recommend that you watch this video------>
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDIN6KNilkU

Oh my god...I'm back with another post. I know it so shocking and that I usually don't post like this. But hey every one can change and I'm trying. As I was surfing through you tube videos I saw this really pretty wedding couple. My first reaction was omg they look so gorgeous...second reaction was what is this video about.  It was Indian wedding highlights. I was pretty much captivated when I saw them start the wedding highlight. It is every young girl's dream. The day when she will get married and start her new life. Then as I tend to wander off....I wandered off into my own world and  started imagining my perfect wedding.

Thinking about my wedding made me realize that as Indian girls how we leave behind our own families and adapt to a new family. It seem almost amazing when I think about it. As I was imagining myself in that position I almost think of it as a impossible scenario. I mean imagine a girl that is just tearing up at the thought of her marriage how she will react when it actually will happen. The thought of leaving my parents makes me shiver and scared. I don't think I can leave them, but we shall see when the moment comes. So reach out to me my Indian ladies and men on what your thoughts are about the day of your marriage....even though it maybe ages away.

Dreaming of her marriage,
ℓα∂у ∂αвααηg

P.S. I spent a lot of my time watching these videos....I know how retarded you must think I am but it had its moments. So if you want to see something really funny watch the video link below and watch from 2:13 and particularly notice the groom's hands....made me laugh so hard and he does it again at the end.

WhaT GOes ArOunD...COmeS BacK AroUnD

Dear Readers,

Okayyyyyyyyyyyyy... so I'm back after I don't know  how many days....oh look exactly a month. So in the past month I have been coming back home a lot from college and I started thinking about things that I never really thought about before. It seem to me to be like some sort of epiphany was meant to strike my puny brain in the past month. Up until now I really posted only about my artistic side... my poor attempts to dabble at poetry. Readers I have decided to save you from the torture of my poetry for this post. I decided too touch other things that really effect me and describe the person that I am. That would be if you are interested in actually knowing what makes Lady Dabaang who she is.
How many of you have actually read about what is happening in Egypt at the moment? Yes it seems a tad bit tedious to read about other countries when there is probably more than what you want is happening in your own home. But, the odd ball that I am I read about Egypt and one of the most fascinating revolutions of our time. The Egyptian revolution itself has been in immense discussion over the past few months. However, now since it has become the ideal display of today's power in the people the dream seems to be turning sour. It seem developing a democracy in Egypt is becoming just as hard and difficult as it has become in Iraq. It made me think that why is it so hard for democracy to be established  in Arab countries. Is it so important for us to establish democracies around the world? Is it truly an efficient system of government that we believe it to be?
Think about the times when you hear about the bombings in the Middle East. This constant disturbance is it truly a revolution or is it something that many corporations are feed off and should be put to an end? Personally when I read about the anarchy of the Middle East it makes me wonder that if it is spreading so fast through out Asia will it reach us on the western side? Think about it....read about it....because sooner or later it will effect you.

A DeDicaTion !!

Dear Readers,

So since my last post was on the importance of friendship... I decided to do something for a very good friend of mine. He is a really interesting character and is really lively...and has made me laugh multiple times. He also looks out for me on ocassion and scolds me for my stupid mistakes. I know he is  the most amazing friend I know him to be. I also happen to know that this is a very tough week for him. So as a friend I felt his pain...even though I know that he won't talk about it. Men they tend to hide the mushy gushy feelings and leave it up to us women to know. So a word to him is that I hope you feel better and that everything in the end works out. This is a small gift from me to you...

Loss
The winds have changed courses
The earth smells of a new fragrance
My hand reaches out for yours
Let’s live this last moment

I feel short of words today
Come close….listen to my heart
Can u feel the love in each beat?
Can you hear the fear of being apart?

I would give you so much more
To take with you and keep
But what can I say
You would only remember and weep

So take with you the laughs
Take with you the happiness
Take with you the joy
Of each memory, removing all emptiness

I know that friend of mine will read this soon...and when you do read it...I wrote this poem from your perspective. I know that I can't ask you to read this to her...but if you do it would make me happy. I'll be there if you need me dumbo : D

Feel the Love,

Friendships....

Dear Readers,

Welcome....well this weekend has been really insightful and very dramatic. It may have been too dramatic for my taste lol....any who... I just wanted to mention and dedicate this post to my friends. So everyone has friends and to them all their friends are really special, but the importance for my friends is extreme. What can I say, as Lady Dabaang I tend to lean towards the extremities in life.
Friends are the name of those individuals that make me laugh when I want to cry, the people that give me company when all others want to run away, the people that love me for my talents but even more for the flaws, and most of all the people that I fight with constantly but I miss the most when they are far away. I don't think friendship should ever be bound my mistrust or anger because like I say there is already too much of that around us. So one message that I will give to my friends is that...I love all of You....and believe me I would never hurt any of you intentionally. If in any case I have hurt your feelings I would like to apologize and ask for  forgiveness from the bottom of my heart.
I do have a love for poetry so here is a poem that really touched my heart. Sadly I have not written this one because I needed something far deeper and someone with better words to describe my feelings.

A Friend Lost

I remember the time not long ago
When we laughed and shared it all
We were the very best of friends
Or at least that’s what I thought.
I often wonder why friendships end
What happens to sever that tie
How can someone once so close
Just wave you off with a good bye
I must have been lacking
I must have been wrong
I wasn’t the friend to you
That you were to me all along.
I thought I was loyal
I know I was true
But something went wrong
Now there’s nothing to do
A friendship lost
Is a very sad thing
The angels weep instead of sing.

 - Brenda J. Metz

And on that very depressing thought lol I wish you a good day fellow readers and next time I promise I will be back with something really cheerful :D

Your Friend,

A SpeCial MomEnT !!!

Dear Readers,

By now you know that I am a very sappy and romantic female. I believe in the happy endings, the perfect couple,s and the romantic walks. The complete package of the perfect romance is what I want for every person out there. However, sometimes it doesn't work out for the best and we all have heart breaks. In those moments it is important to remember that the time you have spent with that special someone is something to be treasured and kept close. So as my dedication to such love I wrote a poem about the first time you fall in love. It is very rare and special that someone's first love becomes the one that they have been looking for. It is quite normal to lose that first love. Hope you enjoy!

My First Love

When I look up into your eyes
I remember god’s greatest gift
I see a man that loves me to death
And is not afraid to hold me close if I drift

You will always stand by my side
Come in the way of any danger
Fight my dragons and evil monsters
Never act like a complete stranger

But why is it now that you must leave
Why has god played such a cruel trick?
He wants me to stand alone without you
Time is running out I can hear it slowly tick

My hand is slowly slipping away from yours
I want to hold on but it is already too late
Take me with you I cry but my voice is too soft
This moment, this place is etched into my mind… even the date

Gone is the time of my first love
Nothing but memories remain
I know we will meet once again
On a dark stormy night drizzling with rain

Like I said.. here I stand before you
Years have passed seasons have changed
Even though spring has become winter
One look at you and I’m melted butter

On a last note...love everything about the one you love not just the good things but the bad ones as well. Remember if it doesn't end well still love them because you loved them once...there is enough hatred in the world already don't add to the pile!!

Keep Loving and Smiling,

InTerEsTing ThOugHts

Dear Readers,

Lady Dabaang is back after what seems like a century in my world. Hey guys I have brought a small surprise. I am trying to dabble at poetry hopefully you guys like it .

Love
I look for you night and day
I search for you high and low
My eyes wander and haunt
Slowly losing their youthful glow

Emptiness inside my soul
I search for you to fill
I need you like my next breath
your absence creating a longing I can't kill

Without you I can barely exist
You make me feel like I belong
Till you are here by my side
This wait will be just too long...

It isn't as long as I would like it to be but hope you guys liked it while I work on my next one....which I have a feeling is going to be way better.

Ciao,

Compliments...Women Can't Live w/o Them

Dear Readers,

Well in the beginning I decided that I would like to refer to myself in the third person point of view, then slowly it became tedious and finally annoying, so I have decided to stick to the first person point of view. All you grammar Nazi's reading this will understand what I meant, and will also shake your heads in shame as you read the rest of this post. Sorry,  let's try to recover from my random tangent towards grammar and writing style. The real reason that I am writing to all my lovely readers again is because of the one thing that women, girls, aunties, grandmothers, or any female will love, compliments.
As Lady Dabaang I feel it is my duty to bring all you men out there some common sense. I swear where you all born on some kind of drug? As my day has gone by today I have heard from over at least five guys that I don't know how to compliment a woman. Guys...a piece of common knowledge...it is not has hard as Einstein's equation it is a compliment....simply nice words put together. I am hundred percent sure that you have complimented at least one female in your lifetime. Remember the time when you were a small child and you wished your mother a Happy Mother's Day and how she is the best mother in the world, *bling* that was a compliment geniuses. I don't know what happens to you between the age of ten to eighteen that suddenly the lot of you forget how to do that again. Well don't fear, Lady Dabaang is hereeeeeeee !!!!!!!

  1. If you like a girl the first step is not to state that you don't know how to give her compliments. Don't ever do that....otherwise I will be forced to come slap you across the head. The lady wishes to be complimented and be told that she is the star of your eye. Men understand that women are vain and love to hear nice things about themselves....even if they state otherwise.
  2. Compliments should never wander around her weight. That is the biggest NO on the list...and some of you might say oh we already knew that. However, there is always one idiot that has to make a compliment that can be related to weight...DON'T DO IT.
  3. Compliments should highlight her best feature or the one thing that you love about her (If you love her weight... don't say it... look at number 3). An example of this would be is just a nice sentence saying that you love spending time with her. Please avoid saying these sentences when you are busy doing something else. Like your playing on your x-box and telling her you love spending time with her.....earth to idiot man... your spending time with the x-box not the girl.
  4. Look into her eyes when you are saying something nice....and possibly lightly hold her hand or bring her closer....she wants to know that you meant it from the bottom of your heart and especially for her. Don't scare the living crap out of her by staring her down like she is the next target you need to shoot down in one of your stupid little nonsensical video games...make it soft and sweet.
  5. Last advice I received from a friend and I though I should include it just in case. One of my friend's told me that never compare or compliment based on another woman. Now that I think about it I would be offended if someone did that unless it was one of the women in my family.
  6. OH AND IMPORTANTLY ------> Don't be stupid....I know that is hard and vague...but I trust you enough to know what is going to be a stupid compliment (hopefully...don't disappoint me)
Well my lovely readers....I hope this helped in some way...and now you have some vague idea on how to compliment women. Please if you have any specific questions comment below and ask....I will respond honestly. Lastly we all know that to keep blog successful we need three things...entertainment...entertainment...and entertainment. Guess what Lady Dabaang is? Yes you are right entertainment. Okay, that was pure cheese and stupid lol....well my pyaare (means lovely in hindi) readers I will catch you all later with another interesting topic.

Best of Luck All You Future Compliment Givers,
ℓα∂у ∂αвααηg

A BegGinING of LoVe !!!

Dear Readers,

It has come to this Author's attention that whenever she has read a blog it has been a learning experience. Therefore she has decided to start a blog of her own that can hopefully create some humor and entertainment in others lives. So as we all know it happens to be the month of love. There are many different ways  men and women both express there love through out this month. However, this Author has had many  hilarious experiences and setbacks during this time of the year which she would like to share with you.
Much of the young generation is enamored by the delicacies and the niceties of the valentine month, however this author has seen some funny incidents. One day this author was driving by and on the side of the road there was a stall for local fruits. So the Author decided to check out the stall and there was another sign that was sitting on the side. The Author asked the vendor why did she make a new sign. The vendor replied that her boyfriend didn't like the old sign. Being the ever curious and intelligent person this Author is, she decided to ask the vendor what the old sign said. The old sign said "Local Honey Dates Nuts". It was probably one of the few moments that the Author laughed so hard on the side of a road and received many looks as if she was the one going nuts.
Jokes apart, valentine's day is such a beautiful day and February such a beautiful month. If you have a special someone don't just make that day special for them make the whole month special for them and make them be proud on their choice of loved one. It was very important whether it be a man or a woman to feel special and loved. This author personally would recommend you all to use humor and jokes to make your partner happy. Humor treats all friends.

Love,
ℓα∂у ∂αвααηg
